I can never pick one favorite anything, so I'll do favorite live action and favorite animated. Live action: TNT shows a version of A Christmas Carol with Patrick Stewart as Scrooge every year that I love. Animated: How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I really feel sympathetic for the Grinch. I have no desire to see the live action Jim Carrey version, though.

My favorite Christmas movie will always be Jimmy Stewart in It's a Wonderful Life. Even though it's really old, and in black and white, it's timeless and has a good message.
