hi there everyone! Happy new year... For me, i cannot consider tears as a symbol of weakness. It is a way to express genuine of feelings of pain and it is a human nature. Great leaders used to cry and i do not see it as a shame. What about you my dear mylotters? Ideas and thoughts are very much appreciated. Thanks. GOD bless **gracie**

Nothing wrong with tears. I sure don't consider them a weakness. Someone who can cry without feeling bad is a strong person. I think a man who can cry without shame is rare and a strong man! Most boys are told it's sissy to cry, which is wrong! You cry when you are sad from the loss of a loved one, or when you are mad sometimes or hurt by someone. I've even cried tears of happiness or laughed until I cried.

I don't feel that crying is a weakness, as you said it is a way of expressing oneself. It is mostly men who think of it as a weakness because that is what they were taught growing up, that real men didn't cry or express emotions like that...well, Alot has changed thankfully and more and more men and boys feel more freer to show their emotions. I think it is great that they do. Some still don't but I guess we can't get them all.

No I don't consider a sign of weakness. It takes a great man to cry. That is how I feel anyway. I told my friend at work that my son had cried over something and she was like what kind of man is he. I got so mad I wanted to slap her. Be proud I didn't. This is the sme woman that crys over everything almost. I just looked at her and said well, you know he is a very kind and caring person. And that is why he is liked and loved by a lot of people. You have a great day. Your friend onlydia

It depends on what has made me cry. If I am sad or hurt, then I really don't care who sees. But sometimes when I get mad or really frustrated I will cry and I hate for people to see that because I feel like they are misunderstanding my emotions. Crying and anger don't normally go together! Which is just my own perception of the situation but I still try to hide my tears when they are angry or frustrated.
