I have a Nokia 3250 since 2 years and since, I think, 1 year I have a battery problem. The problem was that the charge doesn't last for long and the it gives only 2 hour talk time. Then after few months battery started swelling. So I changed the battery and now I have the same problem that the battery does not give talktime and when I charge my cell, it never shows battery full message. Initially I used to get battery full message in 2 hrs or so. By battery model is BP-6M. Have you faced such problems? What do you think might be the problem with my cell's battery?

The main problem result in your battery doesn't last long is when you overcharge your battery. This is what mostly people do to their cells without realizing that is actually a bad habit. Try to charge your battery according to the manuals supplied or just after the battery power indicator is full. Overcharged your battery also result in your battery to swell.

No. My mobile had a charge indicator. So whenever it showed battery full message, I used to remove the charger. I have never left my cell charging un-attended. But now I it doesn't show a "full charge" indicator. It keeps on charging the battery. At least, if not actually charging, the battery indicator always shows "charging" even if I charge for a hold day.

Man oh man i am also facing the same problem. I am using Nokia 6280 and it has the same BP-6M battery i have talked soo many guys related to mobile engineering and they have told me that this battery model has some technical fault and does not lasts longer. Now i am going to change my mobile phone and my advise to you also just get rid of this BP-6M battery system mobiles. believe me no one have any solution for this. Currently my battery lasts only for 10 to 12 hours and i have to charge it almost twice a days. Just change the mobile set as i am going to do so very soon.

Hi there! I also have the same problem with my batteries, I have three and my husband's. He has two. We buy other batteries thinking that the battery we have is broken only to find out that it's the case for the other batteries too.

Then? Did you get a solution to this problem? I am still facing this problem and I am leaving with it. Because if I take it to Nokia Care Center I will not get back my mobile for 12-15 days; more over, they will charge a lot and regardless of whether the problem was solved or not i will get my mobile back with lots of scratches. I don't want that to happen. I am not going to by a new battery as it cost around 800RS(i.e. around 17$) and there is no guarantee that the new one will work.... If you have any solution or idea about this problem, please do share... Thank you.....

No, I do not have a battery problem. I know people who complains about their battery not holding a charge very long and then they have to end up going out to but another battery.

I haven't had the battery problem since I got my blackberry, though when I had nokias prior in the past at least 4-5 I always had the problem of overcharging the battery of something to that effect.
