who is BEST CRICKETER SACHIN or BRIANLARA?

Well for me Lara is the man. He single handedly win matches for the West Indies against at that time the best bowling lineup in the world he does that over and over again. He is the only man to play 400 runs in test cricket. He is the only man to score over 500 runs in first class cricket. I think he is the most respected batsman in the world. Murali admits he is the best batsman he bowls to.

You are right, both are greats & adored by their countrymen.On pure talent lara & style is much higher than sachin. But greater dedication, commitment & a better cricketing brain made sachin achieve more & that's why he is a much better cricketer than Brian lara.His contributions through mentoring & bowling at odi's cannot be ignored as well.

when we compared about the skills sachin is 1% greater than lara.But the main difference is professionalism.Brain lara lacks in that.sachin is a professional player where if he go by rule but not lara.i have seen many times lara arguing with umpires.simply to say Lara is like a Ganguly for west indies.

Hi to all.......... It is extremely difficult to compare Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar......... Sachin Tendulkar holds many records than any other cricket player in this world........... But, Brian Lara also hold some records which Sachin have not achieved at all like scoring a triple century in test cricket.......... Even, Brian Lara had scored 400 in test cricket.......... Brian Lara has won many matches single handedly for West Indies......... But coming to skills, Sachin Tendulkar has the upper hand......... I don't think one can compare the two.According to me Sachin is awesome in the ODIs and Lara is good in the tests.One can see that by the records both of them hold. But personally I like Sachin more.He is so humble,soft spoken and modest.He is the greatest for me.:)

both are great but i think lara is best becuase he has won many games for his side on his own and also he has more double centuries than sachin tendulkar

i think sachin is the best and he is the great player .he is better than lara .he holds mant records.eventhough both are legends i like sachin.he smarter than lara .he is my all time favorite .happy new year and have a nice day
