I usually collect several round fruits or the like every new year's eve. It is not only 13 classes but more than what is prescribed in this belief. So I am buying every rounded fruits i saw in the market or fruit stand. Do you believe in this? Share your ideas.

I've never heard of this tradition. What culture is it from? And are you able to consume the fruit after a certain period of time? Or what do you do with them?

I am from the Republic of the Philippines and we are surrounded with many beliefs for good luck. Although I am not familiar with them all for I tend not to believe in them. But for this round fruits being prepared at new years eve, it's a tradition and wherever you go in the market or in the fruit stands, you can find many different round size fruits or the like being sold in pieces. You can eat the fruits of course with no time limits.:) As long as the fruits are still good to eat. What is important is you have prepared them during the new years eve. As of now I have no fruits left on the table. It was eaten already.:)
