How fast is your life?

My new year resolution is that I want 2009 to be faster than ever. I decided that it is time that I think less about what I wanna do in my life and JUST DO IT. I found out that the feeling that u get when you have actually done something is better than thinking about what is the best method to do something and ending up not doing it. How bout you guys? How long do you think before actually completing a task?

My new year's resolution is just opposite to that of yours. My motto is taking life slowly and enjoy it to the full. Life is short so it is better not to worry and try to live it to the full. However whent it comes to complete a task, I do think twice before doing it.

I was too slow last year. Actually I think too much that is why I don't get anything done. Maybe your life got too fast. Mine is too slow. ^^

Let me first tell you that my life is super fast when I have to work. I basically have no time to do anything at home but to check my emails, and do a fast response. The thing you realize is that when you start doing things without thinking, something will come out of it, and if your already doing self-management, you can do it as you go. There's nothing wrong by losing some time because best method wasn't used, you will learn for next time around. But if you keep making some plans, and put no effort to it... it's basically waste of time. Like you said, start working on something and see how it plays out. If it's OK, keep on working, if it's not, stop and take a deep breath, rethink what your doing and get back to it as soon as possible. Let me tell you, zone comfort is the most hostile enemy your facing. Once it get to you, it's over. It's hard to get out of it, but once you do, make sure you don't fall back again.

Thanks for making me realize that a comfort zone is the worst possible thing that could happen to me. I realize that I do have a really big unproductive comfort zone. Thanks for making me realize that. CHeers.

Im notorious for being a dreamer and not a doer. I am always dreaming and talking about what I want to do, and never getting it done. Like for instance, going back to school. I have been talking about it for the last 3 years. My resolution list actually includes DOING more instead of DREAMING so much......Good luck and Happy new year!
