My cat was missing

Hi all, just thought I'd tell you about my cat Cleo and what happened to her last year. We have had her for about 5years. I was on my holidays from work and I was just staying at home. I remember seeing Cleo just lying on some fresh cut grass just outside our garden in a field. She was looking over at me and she seemed pretty happy lying there in the sun. Anyway about a day later went by and I hadnt seen her around and this was very unusual because she'd always come in for food and most nights she'd come in and sleep in the kitchen. I started to drive around my area to see if I could find her anywhere (I thought I'd find her on the side of the road dead somewhere). So after a few days of not seeing her I really thought she was gone and I kinda gave up on her. So all this happened in the first week of August. Fastforward to November. I went over to a store with my mother and my baby in the car. Just after packing up the car with shopping, starting to drive off .... in the distance a black cat is walking .... my mother says to me, "Oh look a black cat, that's for luck!" As I drive up nearer to the cat I notice it's CLEO! My mother turned to me and said "No way!" We couldnt believe it! I rolled down my window and shouted out her name and she stopped walking and turned and looked at me for about 5 seconds. Then she turned and ran. She ran into another stores parking lot and ran under what looks to be some kind of power shead. What's so crazy about this is that this store we saw her in is over 20 miles away from my house!!!! We think she must have gotten into the eningine of either our cars or one of our neighbours cars (my neighbour goes there a lot too, as we live in the countryside, miles from towns and shops). I've been over to the shop a good few times n left her out tuna, but nothings happened yet. Will let you know if anything does. Happy New Year to you all.X

Are you sure it is your cat , black cats do tend to loo alike, it would be nice to think she is still alive and well, and it would even be better if she came home to you. I hope things work out for you...

It is her, she's not all black, she has white socks, the back ones longer than the front and she has a mark on her chest, kinda making her look like she's wearing a tux! I wouldnt have believed it was her only that my mother was sitting beside me and she saw her too! I miss her a lot she was my first cat and I used to call her my princess. We have two other cats, well three if you count the wild stray we look after. None of them are like her tho.
