I didnt have alot of money for christmas, so I made homeade candy for everyone this year. It was my first time to do this. I found it fun to do. I made peanut butter cups, peanut butter balls, peppermint bark, and some other just chocolate trees, stars, and lollipops. It was interesting to do. Does anyone else like to do this?.

I'm not sure how to make any of that. It all sounds really good. I bet it's a lot of work, but it really sounds like it would be fun.

Yum!!!! Sounds good! I haven't had a whole lot of luck making candy like that. We did though take those chocolate melts and do the pretzel dips and easier stuff like that. The peanut butter cups and balls sound scrumptuous! I had a friend of my grammas who always made those homemade caramels and this stuff called divinity, geez, I miss those...I always got some at Christmas and looked forwards to it lol. Good for you trying your hand at something new, I'll just bet everybody that got some was thrilled to get it! Nothing in the world like homemade, it always tastes so much better than store bought!

Oh yeah those homeade carmels sound good, I did not venture to do something like that though. Oh also did do some pretzels crushed up in chocolate. Forgot I did that.

My granddaughter made some fudge for her friends this years. She makes it with the chips and sweetened condensed milk. I tried to make dome divinity but I But I think the weather was too damp. My egg whited didn't whip up right. As I was try to get the egg whites to the stiff stage i burned the syrup. So that was my candy making this year. My aunt would always send us some and I miss it.

I actually make pretty decent money selling the toffee and toffee popcorn that I make at home. I made around $1000 last month alone. I do peanut butter buckeyes too.
