How often do you talk to people on the phone anymore? Do you text more than you talk? I know that even with my boss its like, text me instead of call me. So do you still talk on the phone as much as you use to or do you just text?

I do not text. If someone wants me, they are going to talk to me. It drives me crazy to see people texting back and forth, when a quick phone call could do it. They are on there for an hour or so, texting back in forth.

I text if I don't feel like talking to a person. Especially if that person annoys me whenever she opens her mouth. I also like to text if the person is well known of talking about other unnecessary things. If I think my text will exceed 2 pages, then I'll call the person. I will also make sure my text is long enough to justify the text charges. So I don't just text 'words' like OK, OIC or GTG.

I've had a cell phone for over 2 years now and I still mess up every time I go to text. I get a lot of texts from my kids, but I always just call them back. So, I guess I mostly just talk on it. (I find the little keypad a pain in the kazooka with my stiff arthritic fingers lol. No wonder I mess it up all the time!)

Hubby is the only one with a cell phone and he doesn't text at all. Rarely will one of his friends text him, because they know he won't text back, lol. He uses his cell to just talk. I use the house phone for all my calls.

I think it depends on the urgency of the situation. But personally, I don't text that much anymore.(except about my hubby, because he's away, that's why when he is texting, sure that I will text back...hihi) But when it comes to friends or other business, I usually just entertain urgent messages, and I can say that I call more often now than before. Sometimes, I just can't afford to wait for the response if I do it through text messages.

I text and call depend on my situation. If i'm just trying too look for someone to chat on i just send text messages to all of my friends but if i'm in emergency or i'm in a hurry, I call. I also call if i feel that if the person that i text don't have a cellphone load. Now a days i use text more than calling because unlimited text is much cheaper here in our country than unlimited call registration.
