A lot of times, people will not pursue new avenues of life because they doubt themselves. They are afraid of failure, afraid of ridicule, or plain do not have the confindence in themselves. So, I ask you, do you underestimate yourself and hold yourself back? I know I am guilty of it at times.

I have underestimated myself most of my life because I've been afraid of failure and I've had self esteem issues. At this point in my life, I finally realize that I will never achieve success if I don't try to chase my dreams. Failure is simply a learning experience. Best of luck to you.

I agree with you. My biggest fear is failure, and because of that, I have underestimated myself in some of my goals in life. I came to the realization that the only person who can really hold me back is myself. Once I realized that, my self-esteem seemed to immediately get better.

Your comment reminds me so much of one of my favorite quotes by Frank Tyger, "Most Barriers to your Success are Man Made and you're the man who made them."

There is a lot of truth in that statement! Thank you for sharing it.

Hello There! There were times that I really let myself down or underestimate myself especially when I am feeling so down. I know it is not right but I can’t help it when I am so depressed in what is happening with my life. But lately, I have been so positive with all my plans and I always set my mind not to underestimate myself so that I can do my work properly. It is just a matter of believing in yourself. Goodluck and thanks for the discussion! Happy Mylotting! Cheers!

How true, and I bet that you even feel better about yourself just as a result of changing your mind-set.
