Hello There! I am a Filipino lady so I can only give you Filipino rice recipe but it is really pretty usual. We just have fried rice most of the time when having our breakfast. Rice is part of our daily meals and part of our tummy’s craving for Filipinos… lol… here is one simple recipe that you may try: For simple fried rice in the morning: You may just scramble the eggs then cook it. After that, slice those scrambled eggs in tiny bits. You must have green peas and corn as well. And chopped luncheon meat or any beef will do… chopped onions and garlic in tiny bits. Of course, you gotta have cooked rice. Just heat the pan with oil then put the garlic first, if the garlic turns into light brown then put the onions on it… after that, you may put the cooked rice then some salts in it. Mixed the other cooked ingredients (scrambled eggs, luncheon meats or beef, green peas and corn as well). But if you really want to have a rice recipe that is unique in Filipino style… here are some points: This recipe comes from the Spanish and is great for fiestas, birthdays, and Sunday lunches. It’s a complete meal in one-rice, meat, and vegetables-so it fits right in with Filipino cuisine. Ingredients: 3 cups rice (cooked in 2 cups coconut milk and 3 cups water) 1 small fryer chicken, chopped into bite-size pieces ¼ kg pork, chopped into bite-size pieces 2 pcs Chinese sausage 1 cup green peas 6 potatoes, cut into quarters 2 red bell peppers, chopped 3 cloves garlic, chopped 2 large tomatoes, chopped ¼ cup sliced black olives 1 onion, finely chopped ½ cup (1 stick) butter 1 tsp salt Procedure: Saute the pork and chicken with the onion, 1 clove garlic and some butter. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir until the meat becomes slightly brown. In a saucepan, sauté the rest of the garlic along with the onions, tomatoes, and butter. Add in the potatoes, sausages, and he sautéed chicken and pork. Mix well and let it simmer. Add some water if it starts to dry out. When the meat and potatoes are cooked, add the peas, olives and bell peppers. Set aside some of the broth, then add the rice. Mix well and add the stock, then let the water boil down. Thanks for the discussion! Happy Mylotting and have a great day ahead! Cheers!

My family loves the american version of spanish rice. It contains ground beef, green peppers, onion, and tomato sauce. The also love rice and gandules. It has chicken, gandules, capers, green olives, pimentos and seasonings. Fried rice is another favorite. Broccolli rice and cheese casserole (with or without chicken.) There are so many different things you can use rice in. It is one of my main staples. I use minute rice, long cooking rice, brown rice. Oh, and of course, rice pudding. Just look on the internet and you can find thousands of recipes for rice.
