I received a gift from a friend last holiday which a full version of Adobe Photoshop CS3. At first, I'm clueless on how I'm going to start using it. Until, I searched the web and found there a lot of tutorials. Awesome! it was great. Photoshop really great and enjoying, you'll bringing out your artistry when your using it. You guys, how do you find photoshop? Are you an expert on it? Can you share some tricks or tutorials?

wow, what a really generous gift! Personally, I cannot afford the whole software and was really happy that i was given a big discount from my company when I bought my computer. Adobe Photoshop is very useful for me since I am a graphic artist by profession. Hope you have success with the program and enjoy

That's a great gift for sure. Visit Adobe.com to know everything about the product. There are millions of tutorials available for photoshop in web for all the types of tasks. Though your requirement mainly seems to be related to image editing. But photoshop can do much more then that.

I'm not an expert but i did use photoshop sometimes to edit or create a wallpaper or something like that and i learned all the technic from googling aroung the net. You just need to know what you want to and try to search for reasonable tutorials that can be use. But sometimes working with photoshop is so tedious especially when it comes to perfecting small detail on your artwork and time consuming too. Anyway, for me adobe photoshop is better compare to others.
