Normally I change wallpaper once a month. But if I found a nice wallpaper while surfing I will save the image and change my wallpaper directly. But on my Linux OS I set different wallpaper to every workspace.

Hi sivanj, I choose my most favorite image as my laptop wallpaper when I first use it. I always feel pleasant and comfortable when seeing the fascinating image occurring on the screen, when I switch on my computer. I have been using the same wallpaper since the first day I bought it back from the computer shop. So far I don’t have any idea to replace it with any other new image, for I still love its delicate colors as the background of the screen of my laptop. Yeah, I believe the calm and cool color of the wallpaper would make me to feel tranquil while looking at it. I think I would shift it to other new wallpaper only when I feel bored to see it again. I have tried to replace it with a seascape picture, but I shift it back again straight away for I still love the current one the most. Happy posting and have a nice day.

Hi Sivanj, How are you? Hope you are doing excellent? I don't like to change the wallpaper in my desktop often. If some pictures attracts me then only I changed, and after putting the same I just fall into love with the same and don't change the same too. I like to look the same again and again. What about you? Do you change the same often?

I usually have my grandson's picture as my wall papers. So whenever i turn on my computer, his smiling face pops up. As he grows up, new shots are used to replace the old ones. Not all pictures are suitable for wallpapers, as the darkness will hide the icons. When I am back from travel, beautiful scenes also serve as wall papers. I notice the wallpapers are symbolizing the characteristics of the user. They vary for different ages, and personality. It is also fun to enjoy wallpapers from wallpaper websites. Beutiful scenes from all corners of the world.

I change my desktop wallpaper after every two to three weeks. Generally I love keeping such pictures that allows my eyes to go to it's depth, and wander. Thus I like open sky pictures or garden pictures. And it affects the mood very much. I like bright pictures, and colorful too. I do not use dull or black pictures, because they make me depressed. The bright ones gives me positive vibes.

I change the wallpaper on my desktop about 2 years. Currently it is a mountain lake scene that came with Windows XP (lake_moraine). I did have a picture of my wife and I for a while until my Zune deleted a folder of family photos. I was only a couple of years ago that I learned how to take a digital photo and make it the desktop wallpaper. I'll probably change the current wallpaper this spring.

Hey, Normally I change my desktop wallpaper everytime I get bored with it. Whenever I change the background in the first place, I seem to be relatively happy with it. But after like about 3 weeks I for some reason get bored. It kinda looks like it somehow changes its appearance. When I change the desktop to a bright, nice and lively theme it also kinda does change my mood. I don't know how, but when I changed my Vista theme to a red flower type one, it also made my mood change into a type of sad/not energetic mood. Then when I changed it to a type of yellow colour one, I started to feel alive more and got in a happier mood. Ok, I just changed my desktop theme into a blue one, made me feel a bit alone ;D Any other people are like this?
