Do you have own house or rented house?

I am renting an apartment. I share the apartment rental with my aunt. It's like a 50-50 thing. I really want to have my own house though since I find it expensive renting an apartment.

Hi vimaal, We are staying at rented house.We don't have own house.It is really good to have own house so that it is not necessary to move from one place to other.

I stay in arented place & keep shifting every year to a new place. I fear the same may happen if i buy a home, I may statr finding faults with my own home too, then what??? I am in a transferable job and keep getting shifted whenever i am contemplating to buy a house. Rented house is ok with me thus far, But i am missing the tax consessions of a housing loan.

We own our home as well. Well at least we own part of it, lol...the bank owns the other part. Our mortgage is low though, so we don't have a problem making the payments every month. I love owning my own home. I am able to do what I want, when I want with it. If I want to paint it, I can do so without asking the landlord.
