We had these classes called 'Home/Domestic Science' in school, and the first thing they taught us was cooking rice. That was the first time I cooked!

Actually the most basic and easy thing to learn is cooking of rice as we just required to know how much water is required for how much cups, as main thing is measurement of water. You got a good subject because in school everyone have to do and its compulsory and because of fear for the teachers will compel to learn all the things compared to home. Think you might have become expert cook now. Happy posting!!

A frozen burrito. I put it in the microwave. My mom worked when we were growing up so we had to fend for ourselves a lot with food. I remember making toast with sugar on it. Then I got more brave and would make things like hamburgers, or noodles for myself.

I think steamed rice and that's when I was 12 years old. It my sounds funny, but when you don't have rice cooker it is hard to measure the amount of water and to cook it right. And I think the other was fried fish.

The first thing I ever cooked was eggs. I can remember standing at my grandmothers in front of the stove with a pan of scrambled eggs. I can remember my grandmother telling me to fold them in. She always made the fluffiest scrambled eggs. Yummy thinking of them now I am starving. Gonna go and make some of grandma's eggs.

Hello There! First food that I made or cooked was “Pancake”. My mom taught me to make pancakes out from scratch. I find it easy and yummy too. Second food is the chicken lollipop marinated with some seasonings. Goodluck and thanks for the discussion! Happy Mylotting! Cheers!

I can remember baking with my Mum when I was a child. I think it was probably fruit scones which we made, since I would have enjoyed using the round scone cutter. Happy memories :)

hmmm... i can't really remember. but i guess amongst the many things i've learnt from my mum, the omelette is one of them. Besides that, i learnt how to fry the fish, cook rice, fry veggies, and make soup.
