Can you still recall when Jollibee came up with this promo? Too bad i wasn't able to take advantage of it. I'm not sure but it happened during the late 90s maybe. I'm hoping it will happen again hehe.. Php10 = 1/5 of a dollar ($1 = Php50)

You're making me nostalgic. Gone are the days of about less than PHP30 for a regular yum meal in Jollibee. Prices have now ballooned to more than twice that price now. *sigh* To be young once again and enjoy cheaper prices...

Yeah, Especially Chowking who's been increasing it's prices eventhough it's got a reputation for being unsanitary.

Well my mom just poured panis milk on her Halo2x. I also ate a small piece of paper.

True, I rarely eat at Chowking except when I get a craving for halo2x and there's no cheaper joint nearby. There was one time my officemates and I ate there and there was a fly in one of the dishes.

i think i experience it but the thing was its so thin and it has no cheese. only a plain burger with no drinks. and even sundae cone. only P5 i experience it about 1999... thats all... but theres more i experience eating cheap price at the mall... in Kamay Kainan... you can order about P29, it has 2pcs. long languniza with pride rice. the taste is so delicious you can come back for more.

There's this local joint here in Cebu called "Mang Inasal." It offers unlimited rice together with your viands. It's like ordering bottomless Iced Tea hahaha.

I can't remember this promo though. But whenever i hear a jollibee & their promo stuffs, their buy-one-take-one burger promo always comes to my mind.

I don't remember that the Jollibee had this kind of promo.. But I don't think so that it will happen again since everything in the market is getting expensive.. Well, if ever the Jollibee and other fast food chain I don't think so they will go to the price lover than 30pesos.. As of now, their burgers were about 30pesos I think without a drink and French Fries.. So, it is really impossible unless our money will go high.. Well, near in where I live there is a store who sell 10pesos burger without any drinks and French Fries.. Of course, the burger isn't the same as in Jollibee and also the taste of it.. It is very thin.. If you want burger with cheese then you need to add additional 16pesos for the cheese.. The cheese is very expensive since it cause 6pesos.. I sometimes buy burger only then I will just slice a cheese at home since its more cheaper than pay additional 6 pesos..

Even those cheap burgers started at 10 pesos (at least here where I am) and steadily increased until the price has reached 20 pesos, twice the original. But at least it's cheaper than Jollibee or McDonald's.

I really hopes jabee can lower their prices. I really love their food there. But i think it will never happen again because of economic crisis maybe. Now i'm hungry, i want jabee right now!!! LOL

i think it was way back in 97 to 98 yup, late 90s. it was when i was like 3rd year in the university. we are studying chemistry then, & my chemistry instructor told me its not pure beef. its like they use some extender from soya meat so they can make it cheaper

Hmmm.. it looks to me that Jollibee must have ran out of pure beef. So to save face they lowered the price (...because it's not pure beef). Hmm.. i smell conspiracy hehe..

I worked as a service crew at jollibee during the summer of 1992... and i don't remember this promo... even during the subsequent years... maybe because back then... there were very few Jollibee stores around... and we only get to eat there when we have money... unlike nowadays where this fastfood is everywhere and very affordable...

Hello modstar! I didn't know that burgers in jollibee came up into 10 pesos. Well now wonder, the everything was cheap during 1990's. But I don't think the the burger price in jollibee will go back to 10 pesos. Everything increased nowadays, from meat, to flour /bread. I am not even sure if the gas price will remain cheap. It would increased anytime now. Anyway, I have known one good seller of burger which is cheaper. They have a promo sale of buy 1 take 1 for only 25 pesos.

yeah... days when a ten peso bill will go a loooong way... unlike now that it's barely just a jeepney ride. tsk tsk tsk.

Soon enough, it will not even be enough for jeepney rides.
