Do you imagine what people look like?

One of the best things about chatting online is the anonimity, no one will know who you are if you dont want them to. Some people choose to put their picture up, some dont. But when you are chatting with someone, do you imagine what they look like? Sometimes I do, sometimes not. Do you? Have you ever thought about what I might look like, (I mean some of you didnt even know if I was a boy or a girl. You know who you are Harry!)

Yes, at times I do try and imagine what someone looks like online. I am usaully surprise when I get to see the real true person behind the picture or screen name. I have learned along time ago. That just because a person describes themselves a certain way, it doesn't mean they are that way. I have to say, I have no clue if you or a boy or a girl. I know that is bad on my part.

I realize you are a girl now from another discussion. My sig kinda gives it away Ia m a girl to. But I have had someone recently call me a guy because I disagreed with the orgnial discussion starter. I just laughed as they made them look silly when they tried to get smart and yell at me.

thats cool, I am a girl, but most people think I am a boy cos my username has monte in the title, that just stands for monte carlo.

I do that more so in video games. Because you get to know someone by their avatar and most of the time avatars are 'attractive' so you have to wonder if they've made their avatar look something like they do in real life, or if it's completely different from who they are...maybe even female vs. male...lol. There's a guy in one video game that I play who's pretty much a celebrity and he always walks around with no shirt on in the game. I wonder if he's that hot in real life, or if he's, well.... not. haha.

I'd say not often. Many people here for instance have photos up. So if you wonder what someone looks like you usually don't have to wonder for long. It is actually kind of nice.
