I dont know anyone else besides me, that watch a television with the sound OFF. I dont know why it just annoyes me listening to the voices. It might have something to do with me being around the people all day and maybe I need peace and quiet at home, but still it sounds strange heheh. So who else is as strange as me?

I like my tv sound on. When its silent i feel bored. Maybe even sleepy. Some people watch tv silent to pretend theyre saying something else lol. Dont know anyone that does that unless they remaking a movie to make it sound funny.

I enjoy muting the TV and along with friends making our own vocals. In most cases these days what they are saying is so mind-numbingly dull and boring our version is much better ;)

I used to watch television with the sound off all the time. I would actually turn the TV on mute, put on the closed-captioning, and then actually listen to my RADIO. LOL. I don't know why I did that--I guess I enjoyed the sound of music more than I did of people talking on the TV. However, I don't do that as much anymore, so I usually keep the sound on my TV on.

I've tried watching TV in the past without any sound. I guess it's OK when you're watching things that don't really depend on the sound like sports. It's actually better sometimes because you don't have to listen to the annoying announcers talk and can just watch the game in peace. I don't usually watch TV with the sound off though. I enjoy the audio of most TV shows. Why not just turn the TV off when you need peace and quiet at home? Or maybe you could put on some classical music to relax. :D just a thought!

I only do that if I'm watching some sort of sporting event or something as I hate listening to the commentating. I'd generally rather do something else (like browse the net) and just look at the screen every now and then to see the score.
