what should I buy?

The necklace - A necklace I bought just to spend a gift certificate.

I just got a $25 gift certificate in the mail for Amazon. What should I buy with it? Something specific, not just a book or CD. The last time I had a certificate to spend, I bought a necklace just to spend it and get something. The picture looks so much nicer than the actual necklace. The beads are much bigger than they look. Not what I had in mind. So, should I spend it or save it until I get more certificates?

Try to find something you really like or something you would not buy with your own money lol That way you can still use your certificate towards something and it will feel like a nice discount. That's what I did with a gift card I had at work-it was only $25 and for Walmart but I went and bought cosmetics and beauty stuff that I'd be unwilling to splurge on,wasn't my money! lol Treat yourself now or save up and give yourself a BIG treat later

I ended up using my Gift certificate to get Acai Berry pills. People have been saying miraculous things about them and weight loss properties.

The best thing would be to wait till you acquire more Gift certificates. If you would want to buy, there are lots of people who would sell you amazon GC's for much lesser than the face value. Please be aware,do not add any of the GC's to your account or else your balance might reduce or become zero, without you being aware of it. always welcome for more info

Thank you for the advice. I didn't know that the GCs depreciated over time if you enter them.

I would save it up if you do not need anything else right now. I would wait until I actually needed something. I love shopping at Amazon.

I would make sure that the certificate doesn't expire. I, on the other hand, would buy that book!

Cannot say what you should get, but the last time I had an Amazon gift certificate I bought an offspring backlit keyboard and I love it. However, that said, I must admit that I like this keyboard to much and type on it so much that I have worn almost all of the marks off the keys, so that is one shortcoming of that otherwise fine product. Well, I use a Dymo Label Maker to create new letters and stuck them on, and so far they are holding up fairly well except for the e, r, b, g, h, and p. Now you know which letters I use most! Time to fix those!

LOL. The only letter wearing off my keyboard is the "A".

IF you spend $25 at Amazon.com you get free shipping. So make sure you don't waste your money on shipping. But what I buy are TV box sets. I love the sitcoms from the 60's and 70's so I am collecting lot of them. I do surveys at a site and they dont' pay via paypal, but only with Amazon gift cards. I wait till I get at leat #25 and then start looking for sales and just watch and as soon as what I want goes on sale, I buy it - basically for free!!!! I have seasons 1-5 box sets of The Andy Griffith Show for free, (dont laugh - well don't laugh at me, but laufh at the show - it is hilarious good clean fuN!) I have gottens ome of my favorite movies like Long Long Trailer and Yours Mine and Ours (with Lucille Ball, not the remake - that remake was disgusting!) and other shows. And all for basically free. So... if you have a favorite tv show or movie - get it with your gift card!!!

I love that movie! Well both really, but the original is way better. Way too funny! Mayberry is always a good wholesome choice.
