Kevin Peterson is undoubtedly the best player in the england cricket squad. The decision that he made to give up the captaincy was it the write decision did he do it in the most appropriate way? Or he is just a spoil baby that expect to get everything he wants or else? I personally think what he did today was very poor and it was really unproffesional.

I believe that this decision back fired on him. He is a great cricketer but need to mature more where responsibilities are concerned.

pietersen resigned due to his differences with moores and even though he resigned he could have waited.it happens when coach and captain dont think on the same lines and whatever happened is definitely not good for english cricket.

Sorry, I cannot say that Kevin has taken any wrong decision. He is the best judge of himself. He thought that his captaincy is becoming burden.that's why he left his captaincy.I think while he was not captain his batting avg was double .

Yes he has taken a poor decision. I am not refering his decision to quit, but his decision to blame the coach for loss at chennai test match, and insting on vaugan when the selection committee has not selected him. The decision of resignation would have been a compromise reached with ECB after ECB found out that many playes are backing the coach rather than peterson.
