is water better than a cool drink?

i know its a weird question but i'm sure all of you will have mixed opinions.to be quite frank i enjoy drinking water more than anything.even if i drink a cool drink i dont get the same satisfaction which i get when i drink water.so what is your opinion?i know water is essential for all of us and we have to drink it everyday but i find it tasty eventhough water is tasteless.

Water, of course, is essential for the life. Cool drink feels good only in small quantities and when taken less frequently. But whenever one is really thirsty, his or her first choice, normally, be a glass of pure cold water. Without cool drink we can survive, but nobody can survive without water.

Hi antony, I believe that water is the best drink and second would be juices. The Cola drinks are not good at all. If you enjoy drinking water, that is good because you won't be tempted so much by drinks that are not as good for you. Some tea and coffee is good as you should not drink cold water, especially with greasy foods. Blessings.

Actually both are the same.They both quench our thirst.If you drink fruit juices they are really nutritious for the body.The quench thirst and give strength to the body.It will also keep you active whole day.

i'm an iced tea drinker. drink it year around. it's my favorite drink.

Yes, you are obsolutely right, without water no one can able to live in this earth.. Water is the very very important one for humanbeings to live. and also drink more water is also a good to your health, most of the doctors are advised the same. And also, the doctors told that, every human shoud take a minimum of 2 litres of water and the maximum of 5 litres of water in a day. Just check how much shall we drink in a day.. we always in the minimum level only. Drinking more water will keep our digession sytem clear, and also drinking more water is the preventions from lots of diessesses. Even i have heard in some of the interviews, the beauticians, told that drinking more water will give you a effect in your hair will not get dried and also it maintain its stamina, even at the age of your 50 and 60 you need not apply die to your hair.. Regading the Cooldrinks, now a days in most of the cool drinks has been mixed with the lots of chemicals, this will defenately spoil our health in different ways. So, if you really needs to drink cool drinks you prefer for the fresh juices, or the fruit juices, out of which fresh juice will not contain any of the chemical parts and as for as the fruit juices are concern, you will the chemical composition, which will not get affected your body, that is only the preservatives. Water is certainly good for you - and has no calories or sugar. Your body needs to be hydrated, so it is good to drink plenty of water. It's good you find it tasty - personally, I'd rather have iced coffee!

Water is always the best. Those beverages, colas, soda drinks, tea or coffee can't hydrate the body as much as water does. In fact most of them can even dehydrate and have bad effects on our health especially those containing soda, carbon or caffeine. So like you, I also enjoy drinking water and in fact not even drinking those those kind of beverages.

I prefer to drink water too. I really don't like sugary drinks because of all the sugar and sugar really is bad for you. The natural sugars in the fruit juices are ok but still I don't care for them either. The only fruit juices that I like are unsweetened orange and and grapefruit juices. I beg to differ with you about water being tasteless. I have tasted some very tasting water then i have tasted some very good tasting water. It depends on the mineral content.

Water is one of the most important fluids which the body requires. I try to drink as much as possible. But, it's not always possible especially when I am traveling outside on hot summer days and I end up buying carbonated drinks sometimes. I find that it refreshes me more than soft drinks.

Well water is good for you, and we need it to stay hydrated, I like to drink ice cold water on a hot day, theres nothing like it, all those carbonated drinks just make you sweat and make you more thirsty, ice water hits the spot. I don't drink it as much as I should, I drink alot of tea, and its decaff, so I don't think its too bad for you.

Yup, water is surely better and all other drinks.. NOt only they are healthy, but they are cheap too.. ON top of that, they quench thirst fast and it keeps us hydrated for longer period of time too ^_^ I dun like cool drinks because they tend to be too sweet, and it's addictive.. They wont be able to quench our thirst, but they only make us more thirsty.. lol =D Nothing beats plain water ^_^

I feel that drinking water has always been the best thirst quencher for me especially if it is icy cold. It just seems much more refreshing to me. I enjoy iced tea or lemonade once in a while just like anybody else. I believe that drinking more water is in the best interest for everyone's health.
