Movies that critics dislike but love by movie fans

Have you ever seen a movie that has a bad review by critics but is a big hit with movie fans? "Star Wars" was a good example of this. This movie was unpopular with the critics in the 70's but was surprisingly a big hit.

Hi, I don't listen to professional movie critics. That's why I have my own new movie blog.I think I am a better reviwer because I don't get paid for reviewing new movies.

Twilight? a lot of the critics say its crappy, but the female fans love it. probably because the book preceded it. i think if the movie just came out, not many would go to see it.

And you can also get the reverse, films the critics love but aren't popular with the public. "The Last Emperor" was one such I think.

there are many such movies. in india, the movies like golmaal and its sequal also have such scenario.
