Do teeth whiteners really work?

I have tried those Crest white Strips. I didn't see much in the way of results. At least I don't think so. Have you tried them? Or any others? Which ones do you think work? Or should we just have the dentists help?

I haven't tried the Crest white strips or any of the other strips. I have tried the whitening toothpaste and the teeth whitening mouth wash. But I have found that baking soda will give you basically the same results without the cost. It works well. Doesn't taste the best but with a little tooth paste mixed in it is tolerable.

Oops! forgot..You can also swish diluted peroxide in your mouth for a minute or two then brush with the baking soda/toothpaste mixture that is what I did.

I've tried the listrine ones thru BzzAgent and they work. The only thing is perhaps it's just me but of the 2x I used them.... I ended up with a sore throat. I know you are supposed to be able to swallow the stuff but I spit it out and sitll had a sore throat... I don't get it!

I have used a couple of different kinds in the past. Neither one of them ever worked for me. I rely on my dentist.

I haven't tried them. I should probably give it a shot before I go to the dentist's for a whitening treatment. Might need to do that.

I've tried a few different brands before. The one that I found works is the Crest Daily White Strips. You only need to have them on for five minutes.

i got crest white strips for free (as a tester from bzz) and i did actually notice a difference in the colour of my teeth. all there really is in whiteners is peroxide (yes, that is the same stuff that you put in your hair to make it blonder) so i dont know how healthy it is for your teeth.

I have only tried them once or twice a long time ago. I don't even remember the brand, but I know they did not really do anything.

I've never used them. Actually, my front top teeth are not my own, they're dentures. I've had them for about 2 years. At one point my teeth were so awful I was afraid to smile or even speak to someone. I'd cover my mouth when I was talking to people because I didn't want them to see how messed up my teeth were. I had some small cavities in my front teeth that I had filled. But eventually the fillings fell out and the teeth began to rot away. Then when I was pregnant with my toddler my front tooth broke off to the root, and I ended up having to have 7 front teeth pulled. I went around with no teeth for 2 months while waiting for my dentures to come in. Even though my teeth are pearly white, they're still far better looking than they were before, so I'm thankful for that. I can smile and talk to people without being self concious now, and that's good enough for me.

I've tried the Crest white strips and just about every other thing on the market and I haven't had good results with any of those products. Nothing really seems to work as well as the professional treatments that you get at the dentist.

Hi, I don't use teeth whitners or ever tried them but I do use a strawberry and rub it on my teeth. Believe it of not the tooth or teeth look whiter after I do it.I go to the dentist every 6 months and the hygenist polishes my teeth but never whiten them.
