I'm not sure if YouTube will replace TV, but I am sure something is bound to do that at one point or another. Maybe it will be Youtube, maybe it won't. But I can't wait to see what it is that does end up replacing television. I think there is a site similar to YouTube where episodes of TV shows are uploaded (completely legally). Hulu, I believe? But according to an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, TV won't become obsolete for another thirty-one years :P. But yeah, sometimes I think I do spend more time with YouTube than I do watching television. That's how it seems lately. With a few exceptions, about the only time I watch TV anymore is at night and that's only if something I want to watch is on.

i definitely watch youtube more than tv...i dont think it will fully replace tv until they have interactive tv where you can choose what to watch without commercials...if that makes sense!

I always watch Youtube over TV. It has everything on almost every subject. The only problem that keeps it from replacing TV is the fact that unless you attach your computer to your TV you have to look at a tiny screen (espically with this laptop I have). Which may be hard for the true couch potato that likes to be able to sit on the couch infront of the flat screen.

I think not. And to when i have no idea for i am not in favor of youtube replacing the classic TV. Lots of people would lost their job if that the case. and i think you tube is also depending to what the TV says.hehe ^_^

It probably will for me come February. I don't have satelite or cable. I don't have a high def TV and I don't have the converter box. So come the 17th of Feb I won't have TV anymore. For me it's simply I choice. I decided that I watch too much TV and if I just let it go away that I might just get more done. Getting more done means more income and then I'll reward myself with a flat screen high def TV like the ones I've been scoping out. In the mean time I do have you tube. I love you tube. It's too easy to spend too much time there too. But at least I'll be sitting at my computer and it's easier to get back to work than when I'm parked on the couch.
