telemarketing do not call list

where i live they came out with a do not call list for telemarketers. what a difference. before i called to put my name on this list i was gettin g at least 3 calls a day. in the last two months i have received maybe 2 calls from telemarketers. it's so peaceful.
how many calls do you get in a day or a week?
do you have a do not call list in your area

At my area, the only calls we get are from property agents. They call and ask if you're willing to sell your flat because they are interested buyers. And it seems these people are forever calling us. It's like in a month i can get up to 4 to 5 calls.
I wished we had a do not call list too.
there was once, i got this call from playboy magazine. apparently they are doing some survey and he started asking very personal questions & i got uneasy. So i snapped at him and banged the phone.

In my area I get at least four calls a day. I wish I could find a do not call list in my area. Thank God for caller ID I have started checking it and if I don't know who it is or if it says unknown name unknown number I don't answer it.

We too are on the do not call list. We occasionally get a call, but not very often. It is peaceful and nice to not be disturbed by these calls. Some of those telemarketers can be so pushy. We had a list of "bad" things to tell them when they called, but never used it. I know it's their job, but it sure is a nuisance to the people they contact.
