We have 6 inches of snow right now and more is coming. I am glad I don't have to leave the house today!! I will stay home and stay warm. I am so ready for spring. This is the first heavy snow we have gotten this year. We have had more freezing rain than anything. How is your weather?

You can have it! Stay safe. I have relatives that live close to Saginaw. They are always telling us about all the snow.

right now, there is no snow falling. But the weatherman said there will be more coming later today. I wish I could be somewhere south right now. Yesterday, my car got stuck in the snow.. that was fun... I went out to shovel my way out.. my pants were all wet... and I was on my way to work too. :( I was late 30 minutes... it would have been more if, a man doesn't stop and help push my car out. Arizona sound a lot better about now. :D

The corner of NE Ohio I live in is still getting dumped on...ever since last night. I'm not sure how many inches we have now, but this morning and at noon, they were saying we (snowbelt) were getting a steady one inch an hour. My son-in-law's plowed 3 times already. I'm glad I don't have to go out too!! My one daughter said it took forever to get to work and it's normally only a 15 to 20 minute ride (and that's mostly due to speed limits in the town she works in.) The heavy snows don't bother me as much as the freezing below zero's that they're predicting for next week! Sure hope that misses us :-) Stay warm!

I am close to Mansfield. We have only gotten about another 1/2 inch so far. That is plenty though. I hope we don't get that cold next week. I had not heard that yet.

You're north of where my one daughter and family lives (Holmes). I haven't heard from her today yet, but I imagine the roads are bad there too. I'm only about 15-20 miles south of Lake Erie and live in the area of the highest elevation. Usually we get all the Lake effect snows, but they said this one wasn't lake effect we were having. Yeah, channel 3 said we're dipping down around zero coming up next week (can't remember when it's starting.) Not looking forwards to that! A couple of weeks ago when it was below zero the pipes in my laundry all froze! What a mess!!! Must have been the cold combo and the winds hitting that side of the house most. Right now we're having a lull in snowfall, but heard we're supposed to get more coming. What a winter, huh?!!

Our weather has been cold and rainy, but we are expecting sunshine and fog for the next week or so. I hate the fog and all the rain in the winter. We live in a valley so the mountains get snow, and we usually end up with lots of rain. I know what you mean, I am ready for spring too. I hate winter. I especially hate the gloomy, dismal days. Bring on the sunshine and the warmth, lol.

Ice on the trees - The icy rain has clothed everything is a beautiful sheen of brightness!
Much the same as yours only we haven't had any snow yet, just the freezing rain. Here is a picture of part of my tree out back, it look beautiful! I, too, am glad I don't have to go anywhere but I probably won't be going to see my Dad tomorrow, either. I usually visit every other Sunday but I doubt the roads will be very drivable tomorrow.

Our weather is like a yo-yo. We will get a couple of days in the 50's then back to the 30's, then the 40's, then to the 20's. Our weather is like the gas prices, don't know when it goes up, how long is it going to stay up and vice versa when it goes down. I'm amazed that a lot of people hasn't gotten sick with weather we have been having.

We had a good bit of snow the other day. I think it was a few inches. We were supposed to get about a foot starting last night and all day today but all we got was rain with a little sleet mixed in. I had bragged to one of my friends who lives in PA that the snow passed us in Ohio and went straight to her because she got a lot of it and she is getting more. Boy did it come back to bite me because we got hit with some snow but not as much as she did. While it was snowing big time in PA, it felt like Spring here in Ohio. I am not bragging anymore because I don't want it to come back on me again, lol. So all we got was a little freezing rain and it wasn't very much. Our weather guy has been really off this Winter. I am ready for Spring too and my mom has already begun her countdown, lol. Stay safe and warm! :)

Well we were supposed to be hit by a real dousy of a snow storm today but it kind of fizzled out..at least in my immediate area..haven't heard what the rest of NY is like yet. It was just starting to snow when I went out today though, and really didn't mind it...I had to get some cat food for my deprived cats ....uh, yeah, sure...LOL

Today was nice in the 50's and sun. I took the dogs out in the fields at the families ranch again this weekend they do so enjoy to go for a run. Daisy May the rat terrier looks like a miniature gray hound so she can run fast and my papillion looks so pretty with his long white fun flowing in the breeze. I did enjoy the day out at the ranch

Oh I feel for you Thoroughrob! I can't stand snow and even worse, ice! I'm so glad we've moved to NC where it doesn't snow all that much but we do get ice and that's most hated because it's so dangerous but most times it melts during the day because the temperature gets way above freezing but still at night, when having to venture out, it can be unbearably treacherous. My weather right now is 54 degrees. Not cold but really cool and it's cloudy... yucky looking and we're due for rain tonight which we've had so much of in the past few months. All it seems to do is cloud up and/or rain and we're so sick of this type of weather that we're so looking for spring but we all know we have some time to go before we get there. *sigh*

Right now, ours is rain but the weatherman was calling for 2-3" of snow a couple of nights ago.. We didn't get it but it did help the grocery stores.. All you have to do in TN is to mention snow and it is like "Girls Gone Wild", everyone hits the grocery stores.. I believe they pay the weatherman to say it every once in a while.. Stay safe and stay warm, get a good book and sit by the window to read, and enjoy it while it lasts..

Hey Thoroughrob! I live in NY and we got hit with the same storm today! I don't think we got as much snow as they expected! But, we did get some of it and some freezing rain! And it is very cold here so it is going to freeze up and it will be an ice skating rink by the morning! And the rest of the week they are calling for snow just about every day! And the temperatures are going to be very low which will really make things much worse! I am also ready for Spring! I was excited to see the first snowfall! What was I thinking!

Right now our weather is pretty good, but it has been quite interesting here in the Seattle area this winter. We had some Bad Snow storms here in December, and then Rain, etc. which flooded a lot of areas, and closed the passes, etc. But I think we are in the 40s here now, and supposed to be nicer all week which is going to be an added plus for sure.

Our weather is crazy here in Florida. It's a little chilly at night and warm during the day. Half of the time it doesn't even feel like Winter. Not sure what it feels like. Maybe a combination of Spring and Fall.

I don't mind snow and 6 inches is really just a heavy frost. I prefer snow to the icy freezing rain. I don't mind or winter...I hate the hot, humid summer.

on and off nasty.it's about 5 degrees out right now,and is supposed to snow again. there's ice everywhere, which is making it difficult to go anywhere without risk of falling on the butt. i am waiting for spring.

wow, the climate have really changed. this time of the year in Sweden we always had snow, lot´s of it. But today, there is plus degree and windy and green gras. I am happy though, I do not like winter and snow. We had some snow and winter before christmas, but it has disapeard and now it shore looks like the spring comes really early this year. I heard on the news a couple of days ago, that it has snowed on Mallorca....gosh many of the european goes abroad to avoid the winter, I guess they pretty much could stay at home. I shore do not know where the world are going, but there are lot happening. Weather changes, financial market changes, industry changes....what is next. Well, that for now See you later alligator
