I love this song so much. I have a lot of songs that elvis sang that I like but I feel this is my favorite so far that I have heard. If you had to pick one song by Elvis what would it be, and why do you like that song. Let me know thanks.

I like most of Elvis' songs,"His latest flame" would be my favorite,I feel like I can relate to the girl in the song lol "Stuck on you","Return to sender","Wooden Heart" and "Litlle less converstaion" are the more or less upbeat ones,and "In the ghetto" makes me sad. And who doesn't like "Only you"?

"Only You" - I don't recognise that as an Elvis song. Can you quote some of the lyrics please?

I too like RETURN TO SENDER but it is not really from my favourite Elvis period. I like the 1970s more than the 1960s, and my favourite song at the moment is IT'S MIDNIGHT. SUSPICIOUS MINDS in on my CD player at the moment.

Suspicious minds is a good song as well. I think I am on a Elvis kick today again as I was the day I started this discussion, I am gonna check out some other songs by him as well. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my discussion and happy mylotting to you as well.

Favourite song or favourite record? Which did you mean? Elvis was given some very good songs to record in his early career - songs that suited his voice and talent. Later he chose some unsuitable songs for his stage shows. The best song he ever recorded which is only available in a live rather than studio version, is You GAve Me A Mountain which was written by Marty Robbins. It is a very good record but my favourite record of his is I Need Your Love Tonight.
