Do you ice skate?

Have you ever gone ice skating? Are you any good at it? I try to go at least once a winter. My son and I went this evening, I just got back. We spent about 2 hours on the ice. There's a park downtown that has a large outdoor skating rink, right under the city's Christmas tree, which is still up and lit. I really wanted to get down there before Christmas, but just didn't have the time, so it was nice that the decorations were still up. I'm not a very good skater, but at least I don't fall down at all. I just skate around in a circle. My son, who is 11, like to skate as fast as he can and then slide on his knees. He did that for about an hour. Ah to be young again, I can only imagine how much pain I'd be in if I did that even once! I'm in pain as it is because my body isn't completely used to ice skating since I don't do it often.
