Do you like a few responses or a LOT of responses ?

I usually only get a few respones per discussion, but I wrote a dicussion lately that got over 50.. now i thank all who respond to any of my discussions, but after a few pages of people answering.. i tend to get tired of reading about the same subject so long!! I think i like it better when i get a few responses that keep going rather then 50+ responses from a lot of people that are all giving different opinions.. I'll have to do a few each day to break up the monotony. How about you ?

Well...LOL...as many of my friends here might know, I started quite a number of discussions lately...Almost all have had over 30 responses...a few have over 60..gasps! I'm STILL tying to respond to my repliers and it's taken me forever. It's been hard too, as I've been writing a lot of articles lately, so by the time I write out articles/reviews, which I do first, my mind is brain fog and it's hard for me to reply to all my discussions right away...ekkk....hellppppp!

I like both....really having a good one you don't need to try to start another one...so soon anyway. I had one recently with about 50 responses too.....I just take my time, read them and respond to the response. I almost feel flattered when there is more then just a couple of comments.

I have made a few discussions in the last week.. but if i have a lot of responses then i'll try not to start a nother one, but sometimes i feel like if i think of something i gotta write about it before i forget!! lol I enjoy reading about everyones answers too, but the one i started, about the radio.. there really is only so much you can say to people!! But i'm glad everyone took the time to answer. and i'm getting at some responding little by little in the time i have here ;)

Me Too Jill as it is so seldom for me! It is a lot of work though and I only have limited time.... I think that is what Sissy is getting at with herself as well but you do have a point that you don't have to start another one right away you can hold off a couple days if you wish (Which I have done, I've even waited nearly a week before starting another)! ~Heavens~

It doesn't really matter to me, so long as I get some responses to discussions that I start, I'm happy. I have to admit though, it is a nice feeling when I get a high number of responses. Though I do get a little bored of commenting back when getting a lot of responses, especially when I start to repeat myself. I'd rather move on and respond to other peoples discussions. But that's just me. Don't feel obligated to respond back. I won't hold it against you.

It doesn't matter for me. I choose to respond to the discussions which sounds interesting or it has an attractive topic and I can share my views. I don't mind whether it has a few or a lot of responses. I love China

So far I still haven't created any discussion yet. For the time being, I only give answer not question been made. I hope I can create questions so that I can answer to the responses. If we have time, we can response to all replies.

You should try to start some discussion too, but first change your avatar, I think some people get discouraged about answering discussions with that little green goobery guy by your name.. i know i do. . I like to see what people change their avatar to. if you need help you can ask either me, or in mylot, or in the FAQ.

lot may be. but I need genuine responses, and not those that a merely for the sake of responding. I really wonder how people respond. cause you cant search a question in myLot. you can only wait for a question to appear in the new discussion tab. and a discussion just 2 minutes old goes to page 3. lucky that you get so many response, because you can always have an idea about you decisions and you may also find people who think just like you(which is quite rare to find 2 people with similar thoughts in all respects)

Well if you make a lot of friends, then your friends will answer discussions from the "discussions friends started" tab, and also if you start discussions in some of the interested that dont have as many people starting new discussions in it, then your discussion doesn't get pushed to the second page so quickly. . I'm sure if you start a discussion in mylot interest about how to get more responders you will get a lot of responses ;)

A lot or a little, either is fine with me. Although I agree that sometimes lots of responses can be overwhelming when you are trying to answer them all

Normally, my discussion has less than 10 responses. Once I got quite puzzled and wondered how to create an interesting discussion so that I can get many responses, like more than 10. Then, just 3 weeks ago, I created 2 discussion under the interest - mylot.com and got more than 30 responses for each of them! I am overjoyed! But, exactly like what you said, I got tired reading the responses and I have yet finished replying all the responses in one of the discussions! So, my answer to your question would be, I like it is every discussion of mine has around 20 responses.

Well I like to get many response from all people because by getting a huge response we come to know the differnent opinion of people. Well I mostly use to reply to 30-50+ response so i think 50+ response is very much.

50 is alot, some people that have been very active and have made a lot of friends here get over 50 in almost every discussion they write. . They must be very busy people

i like more responses of course. first,if you get many responses,i think that means many people are interested in what you are talking about. and for many responses,i think you will earn more too. if i have a lot responses.i will read and add a comment on each.this is a respect for people who respond to.

I agree with you, but it gets tiring to keep talking about the same thing to every person depending on the discussion, so i've been only answering a few at a time each time i sit down ;) It's working out.

I don't mind how much replies I have. If I had over 50 I'm positive I would not be able to reply to each single answer. But you make alot of money with over 50 responses on you discussion, but again, that doesn't matter because I'm not here for the money. :)

wow, i'm not here for the moeny either, but i dont mind receiving a payout when it does happen ;) If i have a lot then i try to answer them all, but sometimes i admit i do pick and choose ones to reply to.. i'll pick people whom i know reply to me often, and that i reply to them often.. you know.. friends ;) It's good to help them out and they'll help you out.

Just like you, I also wanted some few responses with quality than too many responses that I can't even read all. We only need one response to earn some few cents and so if ever we have few responses, its alright. but if we have also many responses, that would also be okay.

Sometimes if i dont have a lot of replies to my discussiosn and no friends are starting new discussions i just go to the tab "discussions with no responses" to answer people with no responses, i ahte that when it happens to me, so i dont mind helping people out.

It is hard to catch up with each and every repsonse. Usually I read thoroughly my friends' repsonses and skim those who are worthy to read. I skip one liners. It is evident that the user did not put much effort in making a reply. However I prefer having a lot fo responses than a few ones. (c) ronaldinu 2009 - the more people I meet-the more I love my dog

Hey Sissy! I responded to that discussion to congratulate on the success as I had seen it had made it to my digest and I was so happy for you I guess this goes to show that what we think we want may not be the case once we achieve it To answer your question, I find that when discussions explode like that it is hard for me to keep up and if I get behind on it then it is hard to catch up again and also to choose a BR....I do find that if I do get behind on an exploding topic then I can only do five or six at a time and have to move on to something else in order to give each person a thoughtful response! I do however like to get varied opinions...especially if it is a topic of importance! I find it sad when I post a serious discussion and no one responds or I only get like four responses....I feel we need to support each other here with the serious discussions also for we all need to be listened to and at times supported for very serious reasons! I wish there could be a happy medium somewhere and more support here at times from friends! ~Heavens~

well i dont usually write too many serious discussions but i have noticed the same with friends discussions, the serious ones get less attention a lot of times. . I also dont know how some of the news articles ones get so many responses.. I tend not to read those, but i guess lots of people must enjoy them. I like when people share a little bit of themselves in discussions.

I have seen some discussions on autism, i'm not sure if they were yours or someonee elses, but i really dont know a whole lot about it, other then a lot of people think that immunizations have a key factor in it. . which terrorizes my brain every time one of the kids needs shots. . *hides*

HAHAHA I think you did it again but I agree with you...i'm not fond of reading all of the discussions from different people. i just sometimes skip them and just write on some of the longer ones that took the time to respond such a long response.... Ready for the snow today!
