Hi ammie07! I am really sorry to learn that you have lost your cellphone. I do understand how you feel. I know that it is difficult to let go of those memories that were stored in the videos and photos but look on the bright side, it is just the gadget that was lost and not your ability to make more memories through videos and photos. I am really sorry and I hope that somehow you feel better. If I failed in making you feel a little better, I hope and pray that someone with a good heart has found it and will return it to you soon. Take care and have a nice day! lovelots..faith210

ammie07, contact your phone service right away. Customer Service will advise you as to what to do. I'm so sorry you lost your phone, it happens a lot. People loss them all the time at the hotel where I work; they generally call their own phone and we tell them when they left it and how to reclaim it. Best of Luck.

I know this is a 'long shot', but have you rung your phone? Maybe a friendly person picked it up and is looking after it for you. To cheer myself up, I usually eat chocolate, but having a nice warm bath in some good bubble bath can help too.

I've lost my mobile phone before but that was many many years ago when I was still studying in the university. It was my first phone and fortunately, it was not a new phone. I got it from my father who has a newer phone. Anyway, I was pretty sad since I'm not really a careless person. I got over it pretty fast. It's a bit troublesome since you have to get those saved contacts all over again but well, no point crying over something which has already happened. Just be careful next time.

I can relate to this ammie. I lost me cell phone recently. It was pick pocketed and trust me I still cannot get over it. I get nostalgic every now and then. It wasn't a techie one but still the loss is unbearable. Here's something that I wrote after the loss. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1062805/how_to_survive_a_loss_of_an_extension.html?cat=10

Oh no what a loss I feel your pain. It is like losing your purse. I hope you can find it soon. I do not keep all that in my phone. I do not use my phone for much except for a few calls and emergencies.

I am sorry you lost your phone. I know how frustrating this can be. I assume you have by now canceled the service so people cannot use you phone to ring up a big bill and you have a new phone. I do not have an expensive phone and has no camera and I do not store that much on it. In the future I would suggest you backup your phone contact list if it is extensive and pictures and stuff somewhere else as phones are easily lost or stolen.

I forgot to ask you. Some of the newer phones now have GPS locators involved. When you talked to your phone provider you should ask if this is enabled on your phone and you can find out where it is as long as it is switched on to standby or being used. It might be a long shot buy might locate your phone.

Sorry my dear frnd its very difficult to find a lost cell but every cell has a unique IMEI no. you can find it on your cellphone bill receipt or on cell user manual. Just note down the number and give a police complaint. Its diffuicult but lets hope it works.

it is a big problem. It is not much if u just lost ur phone but u lost contacts and ur videos and pics. First of all report to your service provider that they should immediately stop the sim card so it is not misused and then ask ur service provider to block your EMEI number so that cell phone can not be used by anyone even is the theif try a new card or even change service provider. This way at least you would have satisfaction that the thief can not use phone . This is all you can do and probably if ur service provider is helpful police can catch the thief as they would know exactly which tower cell is near.

Fortunately no. But I would feel the same if I lost my celphone. I have the habit of writing down the list of contacts that I have with their numbers so that If ever I do lost my celphone I have a back up copy of the numbers. But I would feel really bad if I lost my phone because of the photos and the all the things that are in it. And I think because you got used to having your celphone everyday that it feels like it's your buddy already. Hope whoever found it will return it back to you. Goodluck!

i know that it is a very pathetic situation. if you want to retain the same phone number then you can give a police complain so that you will get a duplicate sim card so that you need not worry that u will miss your friends or ur dear ones n u will also feel good

Sorry to hear you lost your phone. It's an awful feeling isn't it? I haven't lost my phone before but I had my purse stolen; it's one of the worst feelings. Have you called your phone? I guess it is probably the first thing you did. Just like my purse it isn't the monatary value that breaks you heart but the sentimental things like photos etc.. that would not mean much to anyone else. Go and do something that makes you happy to cheer yourself up!

i know exactly how you feel. My cell phone is like an accessory that i cannot leave the house without. If it is not in my purse or pocket its as if something is missing and i get quite miserable until i know that it's ok, then i can function again. I once lost my cell phone and i thought i was going to go mad, its a good thing that my network could provide me with a replacement sim card so i at least got back my contacts.

try to contact your cell phone service center or telecommunication center to block your phone card in order to avoid loss of money.some bad people may make use of your phone to cheat your families.
