How To Make Extra Money Using eBay

I have done this more than once and even have a few friends that make a living doing this. No need to find a wholesaler or dropshipper. First, do you like yard sales and flea markets? If you answered NO, you may want to just skip this idea but it works and it can make you a yard sale junky. :) Get out to yard sales and flea markets and look for things people are pretty much giving away. Remember the buyer pays the shipping so you don't have to get a very good deal to still make money. I look for things that are still in good shape of course, but sometimes older things can be a bit used and still earn you money. Once you have a few things you only spent pennies on get on over to eBay and setup a sales page. The only thing you need to do is make more than the cost of the listing which is cheap. I have found things that at yard sales that cost me less than a buck and I have earned more than $20.00 from them. When I first started doing this, even though I don't do it much any more as my online business keeps me pretty busy, I only bought a few things and spent less than $10.00. I was testing the waters and didn't want a bunch of stuff that didn't sell. Have you tried this method of earning?

I'm considering doing that. Way too expensive to get stuff from a wholesaler and risk being stuck with multiple items. I have heard quite a few success stories about people who have tried the method that you have mentioned. Currently I've been on eBay for about 8 years and I only just sold my first item, can't wait to sell some more trading cards :)

I am itching for spring now so I can get to a few yard sales. I went to a few last year and bought stuff but we liked what we bought and never even sold it on eBay. :)

I sure have and it does work. Plus, it's alot of fun. I've already bought items off Ebay too and have re-sold them for a decent profit. Some people put their items in the wrong category or misspell words and don't receive the amount of attention they should be getting. I usually buy collectibles when I'm out shopping at garage sales. Unfortunately right now it's snowing so garage sales are out but I can't wait!

I have never purchased anything and resold it but i have read about and it sounds pretty cool if you know the products you are purchasing. Strange we have garage sales here all winter, especially when it's 40 below. NOT!! :) Way to cold for that but I am looking forward to spring when they start up again.
