You believe some particular thing. But your friend does not. Will you argue with him and come to a compromise?Or will you stick to your point?.

Hello bhanusb! When my friends and I have different beliefs over something. I would probably stick to my point but I will also respect her point. I don't want to agree anymore and let him change what she believe because I know it would be hard to change it especially if it's about religious matters.

In my opinion, We should always stand up for what we believe in. Theres no point in changing our minds, because thats not truly believing in something is it? x

Well friend, It would depend upon the seriousness of the issue. If its some issue which regards my self esteem or somebody's genuine interest is involved I will try my best to keep my point live if i strongly believe on what i am saying. But generally i don't believe in arguments neither so i support them. I believe its a real wastage of time & energy. In any case I don;t think there is any compromise involved. Either U get defeated & accept the other one's view or You win & stick to your view. For a compromise even if u withdraw from the argument, the belief in side you doesn't change, which is not a very good thing to happen in any friendship.

It really depends on what we are talking about. There are times where I may try to reach a compromise but then again there are times where I shall stick to my point. It all depends.

I believe that a good partnership or friendship has to involve sharing and understanding. I would think that it is alright to have a firm opinion about something but compromising is better for the union.

sometimes in life compromise is required.first i will try to understand the sitution and put myself in my friend's shoe too after that if i find her wrong would definitely try to make her understand or will come to a particular conclusion together or would compromise with her because i wont like to give up my friendship- for a change of opinion....have a good day
