Having children is not for everyone. There are plenty of people who honestly shouldn't have them for one reason or another. And if a couple simply feels complete the way they are without them, then I don't see why they should feel pressured to have children. Just remember, it will never seem like the "right time" to have them and you should only have them if you really want them. There are too many unwanted children in the world. No parents are perfect and don't let that be a reason to not have a baby. Yes it is a lot of responsibility and will change your life drastically. But don't feel pressured to have or not have them. It is your life and you are the only one who can say if you really want a child. There are plenty of couples that lead fulfilling lives without having children.

Oh, don't do that to yourself. There are no perfect parents, don't expect yourself to be perfect. If you feel the need to wait a little longer there is probably a reason you feel that way and you probably should wait. To answer your question, I don't believe a couple needs a baby to be complete but the couple needs to talk about it and be on the same page.
