are you addicted to shopping? do you buy the things you like at first glance without even thinking if you really need it? do you make last minute purchases? do you get a temporary "high" feeling after making purchases? are you experiencing a great deal of debt because of this?

Hi there, I thought I would stick my pennies worth in with this discussion as my hubby thinks that I am a compulsive spender. Thankfully I do not spend money unless we have it so I haven't got myself into debt because of it! I normally set aside a certain amount of money on a monthly basis that I can spend on the little things that I like so I make sure we are not getting into any trouble with regards to money. I do however, buy things that I later realise were a waste of cash when I get home. Shoes are my biggest downfall and I have far too many of them. I cannot resist a good bargain so if I see a pair of shoes that seem to be a bargain to me, I have to buy them and this has lead to a wardrobe full of shoes that I don't wear. I love high heeled shoes that are impossible to walk in and normally I buy them, get them home and attempt to walk in them and then realise they are stupidly high and cripple my feet so I just look at them until I buy a new pair! It's a very sad state of affairs but I'm a shoe-a-holic! I know that I need to curb my spending with the pending economic crisis so I have tried to cut down a little bit but I know if I do not have the money, I can't spend it!

women are women! women love shopping! that's a good idea, set aside money for shopping but strictly stick to it and don't overspend. better yet, just go to the department store if you really need to buy new stuff and avoid window shopping.
