cooking for my father in law's birthday

yesterday was my father in law's birthday. my husband and i live with his parents, along with his siblings (with one of them already married). we are quite a one big happy family.
anyway, last night i cooked for the family. actually, the celebration was already held last saturday night because it was also my sister in law's birthday and they had a double celebration. but papa's natal day was actually yesterday, so i prepared a few dishes. my mom also gave us 3 dishes so we had a lot of food last night.
thank God that i have a pretty good relationship with my in-laws. and i am just happy to do this for the family. of course i had help because i could not really stand up for a long time without the baby squirming and pushing down my bladder. lol
how about you? would you do this for your in-laws?

i would if i still had them i had 2 sets of inlaws & loved them all. i got along w/them fine it was just there sons who gave me trouble. lol. they are all gone now if they weren't i'd still cook for them.

I try to help out as much as I can. I live right next door to my mother-in-law and I am always asking if she needs any assistance. I would do it for my in-laws if they let me. I dont have have a very good relationship with them so they dont always want my help but I think thats great you did that for your fathe-in-laws birthday.
