I try to write something everyday either on e-how, my blog, suite 101, or for a freelance job.

I don't have a blog, but I have a handwritten diary. In some periods of my life I write every day, in other periods I don't write very often. Sometimes I write once a month or even less. How much or how often I write depend on the things that are happening in my life. If there is a lot going on, I write very often. If I am very sad or depressed, I also write very often, because writing helps me clear my thoughts. Sometimes I write twice or more in one day, but most of the time I only write once a day.

I have a blog, but I write book reviews and that is what I post on my blog. I don't write there every day because I can't read that fast, although I wish I could. I usually write for Helium or Gather at least once a day, or make comments on what others have written. My goal for the new year is to write more, but it's not as easy as it seems. Even writing a book review will take me a good hour or more. I wish I could say that I can just write off-the-cuff at the drop of a hat, but it takes me time to contemplate the subject of articles, think about how I am going to start an article, and then the time to write and rewrite it. I'd love to write a novel, but at the slow pace with which I write, it seems a distant goal.

I'm writing all the time . . . in the morning, I make out my to-do list in a notebook reserved just for "lists." Then, I start a new entry in my paper journal. Following that, I update three blogs daily and two other blogs three times per week. In addition to that, I write for suite101.com, demandstudios.com, mahalo.com, brighthub.com, examiner.com, associatedcontent.com, and helium.com. Lots and lots of writing goes on over here. :-)

I write ever now and then in my blog on yahoo 360. I intend to start another one but who knows if I will ever get around to it. I have so many items on my plate I may never again be caught up! I have a notebook that I take notes in when I am out on the road with my husband but I would not consider it a diary. The notebook just lets me know where I have been and if anything interesting happened that day so that when I have time I can add another post to my blog. I never was much on a handwritten diary to my surprise. I write a lot each day. I write for Helium, Ciao, CBU, here, and then my blog and soon to be my website. As I said I may never get caught up. I probably write at least 10 or more items each day I am home. Since I no longer work I am trying to earn a small income from my love of words. I am hoping that it works!
