Do you let your children have your old cell phones?

We've given our old cell phones to my daughter to play with. She enjoys this because now she has her own cell phone. Plus, she's not trying to take ours. That's always a good thing.

When my daughter was much younger, I used to give her my old cell phones so she can play with it... Phones I give her were never active, in fact, a lot of them just didn't work... I'd give her old cell phones just for her to play with them as a toy...

My kids are all grown. I have however given old cell phones to my gandkids. Alexus, the five year old really thinks she is talking. We have to keep it charged for her because she goes through her phone book to call the people she knows. Oh, to be young again and have the imagination that kids have.

I always give my children our old cell phones. They see mommy and daddy talking on their cell phones, so they want to do the same. It has brought many hours of enjoyment for my children throughout the years.
