PONGAL- festival of farmers, Hi all plz wish us!!

I am glad to tell that , All Indians will have great fun tomorrow as "PONGAL" is going to knock in. PONGAL-supposed to be a "Festival of farmers" , i here by wish all my mylotters "happy pongal", Have a sweet pongal. and i request non-Indians to convey their wishes to those who are celebrating.
It will be very glad, if i start celebrating my pongal with the wishes from my mylotters
Tomorrows special item will be : Sugar cane,& sweet pongal
And pongal festival lovers, do drop your experiences and how you are to make your pongal a special one. Lets share it, so that others too will get an idea.

hi friend, happy pongal, happy lohri and happy makar sankranti to all of you and your near & dear ones.All these are Our indian festivals and are for each of us including our farmers.

Pongal is a cultural and heritage festival of southern India, mainly observed in Tamilnadu. Pongal falls in the mid of January every year when the sun starts its journey to North which is called Uttarayan. Pongal is a delicious food. Though I am not a inhabitant of the region, I taste Pongal few years ago at Chennai (Madras). I loved it. Almost every year I go to Chennai and never missed Pongal. May God brings many happy returns of the festival to your life. Wish you a very pleasant and enjoyable Pongal festival.
