Ever had to smack a television to get it to work right?

My daughter watches VHS tapes on this TV/VCR that is older than dirt. It has given me all sorts of problems. Tapes won't eject, tapes won't stay in...you name it. Well now the sound shows up, but there was no picture. Then there was a picture. I smacked it on both sides at the same time and now it works again. Ever had a television that messed with you like crazy? Ever had to smack it to get it to work?

Yup I did it once! hehehe... It was really an old TV and the picture doesn't shows up immediately so I would smack it on the top several times until the pictures appears. Sometimes I have to turn it off and then on again several times to make it work. Eventually the TV got tired and I had to replace it. Ciao!

My not quite 2 year old daughter has learned how to get it to work right too. It happens about once a day. She just turned it on and there was no picture so she whapped it.

Hahaha, I had figured out how to make my old TV work by chance. I got mad one day and smacked it and walah! Keep posting!

Well, I did have such television long before. It was the first television that we had and in fact it was still on black and white. It has served us for about eleven years. Later on the pictures or sound dissapears suddenly and I had to smack it to work. Well, the unit is long gone, but It did serve us well before.

I'm o.k. now for tv's although the dvd has packed up sometime last year. I used to have a tv though that I would swing my hipos and give it a heft clunk with my tight buttock. That used to do the job nicely. It never worked when my husband did that though. It needed a woman's touch to get it going! Blessings good post.

LOL, too funny! Her's is on top of a dresser, so hitting it with my hip is out of the question. It seems to be working fine now that I smacked it real good.
