What do you have or prefer for breakfast?? my husband and I are total opposites on this...I would love a bagel and cream cheese, while he has to have potatoes, eggs, and the whole big breakfast. With everything out there that is available and with what ever time we get in the mornings to actually make and eat breakfast what do you prefer?

We only have what is available most of the time its bread and coffee. We don't make much fuss about breakfast. More on lunch and dinner. We just make do with what we can have in the morning.

I generally dont eat breakfast but I'm slowly working towards changing that..Eating in the morning within a few hours of waking up just makes me vomit so for yrs and yrs I've only had coffee and water in the AM..I'm trying to con myself into having a pc of toast or something else small and bland but its taking time..

oh if it makes you sick, then definitly I wouldnt expect you to eat a breakfast... maybe the toast would be easier on the stomach, but definetly dont push it.

hi my dear friend, me and my hubby generally eat what we both want at that moment. its a joint decision every day. generally we take bread, coffee, eggs, scrambled, omlette, cereal,, muesli, oats, porridge. these are certain things which we like to have in our breakfast.sometimes its also a burger at Mac Donalds. then we take a big chocolate milk shake with it. our ten month oldie too loves to have that.

my hubbys and my schedules are different right now, so the weekends it is a joint decision for us and the family.... of course he always goes for the eggs!! LOL I can be very happy with cereal or fruit or a bagel. I am curious to how our kids will choose as they get older.

I do think that breakfast is very important. It is the fuel that gets the body's engine going for the rest of the day. I prefer to have either eggs or pancakes. I believe that breakfast along with coffee is a great day starter.

I am happy that you chose my reply as the best response. It really is true that breakfast gets us all off to a better start in the morning.

i have to have some form of an egg, be it scrambled, omelet, breakfast sammich, etc. for it to be breakfast it must include an egg for me. i know its weird and the vegetarians will hate me for it, but whatever, the chicken didn't need it anyways. =)

I rarely ever eat breakfast but when I do I eat eggs, toast, hashbrowns and fired ham that is about the best breakfast you can eat. Yummy! I do like bagels and cream cheese I would usually eat that as a snack though. Sadly I can't touch those for ahwhile I am starting The Biggest Loser contest at my local YMCA Monday so goodbye bagels.

oh good luck to you.... that is ok that you have to say goodbye to bagels. Maybe you will find something else to replace them that is much better.

when i was in my hometown, i stay with my family. everything just be fine for breakfast since my mom and helper cook our meals. I dont have worry about no time for cooking in the morning. all i know is wake up, take bath, and arrange my room, and breakfast is already in the table before i leave house. My mom cooks fried rice, fishes, fried egg, dabu2-its indonesian sauce that is really hot and spicy. There's also green tea, fried banana, and also some cakes. But here, i stay in a dormitory. Nobody cooks. all i know is buying outside. I have no time to have my breakfast, but if im really hungry, i usually buy slice of cake and snack, cheese bread, or drink milk only. If i can choose the food for my breakfast... I do prefer all the food that my mom cooks every morning. Its delicious, healthy, free ( i dont need to buy in restaurant-joke), and its full of love (im writing a poem now... and not a comment) but its true. hehehe... Hmm... while im typing this, its already evening, and i need to eat for my dinner. But... but... im hungry for my ideal breakfast meal... Hope you always cook healthy and love "full" meal for your family, and i know you may say yes. God bless.

yes i've heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. health experts say we should eat a big haearty breakfast, a moderate lunch and a very light dinner in order to satay healthy and feel good. that's quite the opposite of what most people do. usually dinner is the biggest meal. i'm actually like your husband. if i were to eat breakfast i would prefer a big one. but then who really has the time to prepare a big meal in the morning? so most of the time i just eat cereal or toasts for breakfast. sometimes i even don't eat breakfast at all when i'm running late.

yeah, I am afraid that is how I am too....I am to busy running in the mornings to stop to eat so my big meal is lunch. I even tried those toasted waffles and such, they still never get eaten...LOL

I always have toast, as I don't have the time to make much else before I go to college in a morning. If I have a lot of time, I might sometimes cook an egg and have a boiled egg instead, but I wouldn't normally. I think it is the most important meal of day, as I can't concentrate at college if I haven't eaten before I leave the house.

I have a large cup of green tea with a little honey and a banana or apple, that's it. I can't stomach much more than that first thing in the morning. Even my meager 'breakfast' is consumed throughout the morning, I don't usually touch my fruit until 10 am or so. I've never been a big breakfast person unless it's later on in the morning or if I sleep in.
