it seems like everytime i try and figure up bills and everything its just really depressing because its like i work for the money and its gone that fast, and i heard of a few people that it doesn't depress because they just say its a part of life and maybe its because i'm young but it just seems like its really depressing to me and i was just wondring if others thought that it was just a part of life or if it depresses you too? i would like to take this time to thank everyone for taking the time out of your day to come by and read and review my discussion and hopefully answering, and trying to help me, and i hope that you all have a great day and night tonight, thanks again for taking the time to stop by.

see all the bills i receive say statement on them, so the defintion of a statement is just that. Its worth looking into. Especially with credit stuff!

Yeah, life ain't easy and nothing is free. But look on the bright side: you have a job and from what it sounds, good health. Think of it as an exciting challenge: How do I reduce my expenses and increase my income? Be patient and frugal and it'll be a valuable learning experience that'll take you far. Compete against yourself: how much money can you save of _____ bill next month? And next month? How can you do it? Track it, chart it, make a big project of it if you want. Might be fun rising to the challenge of living beneath your means. It'll be enormously gratifying if you can do it, and an excellent habit to adopt.

I would have to agree with you jhi930. To me bills do depress me. To me it feels like you try to get ahead and then the next month rolls around. To me it is like money does go fast. To me the problem right now is making the hours so that I can make the money to pay them. With the economy being as bad as it is people do not want to go out and spend the money like they are suppose too. To me that makes it hard on the business because one they let go of employees or secondly go down on closing out store. So dont let the bills get to you jhl930 it will all work out for the best.

The only time bills depress me is when I'm playing the game of trying to figure out how to pay for them. I hate playing that game. It seems like it's a ride I'll never get off of. "Stop this ride. I want off."

Bills only depress me when I do not have the money to pay them. I have been depressed a lot lately, because I am not able to pay my bills, due to a job lay off. I have been out of work for seven months, and the bills are finally catching up with me. Creditors do not understand when you are having a problem which is causing you to get behind on your bills. They need to realize that it could happen to them one day too. I understand they are doing their job, but to try to pressure you into paying something when you really do not have any money is not very considerate.

Well bills do come on a regular basis if I would get depress then it would mean that its a lifetime depression that I would be experiencing and I do not want that to happen in my life. That is why I choose to live a life that is happy and free. Bills will come for as long as you get services from them so why be depress you've enjoyed their services and if you are not satisfied then cut their services so you can be free of it. Just think that you are benefiting from the bills that you received and that is all that we have to think. Don't focus on the negative things because it will come to you more and more. If you think you are paying too much on electricity then try saving more on electricity so that you will get a lower bill.

Hello jhl930. Here it is. You live, you have needs, people can help you with your needs. You have a job, You get paid. You by food, home, furnuture, clothing and other stuff you need in your life. You also need to pay for services like school, doctors, dentist etc. It is part of your life, work and pay for your needs. There has always been this way. one time in life you trade your work for other stuff, today we have money, cards and bills. /anetteh

Well, parting with money is always hard, but at least when you're buying something, like food or clothing, it feels more physical and tangible, than when you're just paying bills for electricity, water supplies etc. These are things we take for granted, so it's more depressing, because it feels like we're not gaining anything from it. At least that's how I feel about it.
