I think Derren Brown is amazing!!

My mum works for a theatre as an Usher and obtained a couple of free tickets to see Derren Brown perform ... and she gave them to my cousin and girlfriend. I was livid with her, how dare she do such a thing without mentioning it to me first!! LOL As the theatre is a 2 hours drive from where I live she didn't think that I would be interested or would find anyone to take care of my kids to enable me to make the trip. When I told her I would have found a way, she went off and bought me a ticket for my birthday. I bent over backwards to sort out childcare and made it to the show. I didn't get home until well gone 1.30 am but it was well worth it and would do it again. Derren Brown was amazing. Just last night I saw his latest show on tv which was the same as he had done at the theatre but with a different audience of course. If you know of Derren Brown what do you think of him? Is he just another David Blaine? I don't think he is at all, he is way more talented and doesn't do crazy stunts to prove his abilities.

Oh dear, says she, wiping hjer tesars away with her hanky, I've never heard of him. But, I will look at the site provided. I don't like David Blaine - don't ask me to give a reason because I can't. It's a gut thing. Blessings

I used to like David Blaine when he did his street magic but I really don't like the endurance things he has done. It is probably and insult to compare Derren Brown to David Blaine but I didn't want to offend any David Blaine fans and am trying to build a picture for those who don't know who he is without going on too much. I get put off when people write too much in their discussions!! LOL . Hope you get a chance you check him out!

Looked pretty cool but I think that ALL the beans had an x on them. He was very careful not to tip them over when he moved them. I'll have to look for more clips and check them out though. I'm sure that this was only a small example of what he does.

I was trying to find a clip that wasn't too long but showed a bit of his talent. What they didn't show at the beginging was that the guy drew a cross on the bean and then Derren Brown turned his back when the guy place the bean umongst the others face down. When he said how many beans were there he was probably correct because I have seen him do this before. He has looked at a tray of buttons for mere seconds and then said how many there were and every time I have seen him do this he has got it exactly right! He does loads of other amazing stuff too, he really is incredible I hope you watch some more or him. Let me know what you think if you do!
