Do you attend school online?

I went back to college in 2006, and decided to use an online university (University of Maryland University College) because the nearest college to where I live is a 45 minute drive one-way. With the gas prices and the babysitting fees, it made no sense to make that type of commute. I've been extremely happy with the studies thus far, and have an advisor that works with me closely. So far, it's been a very positive experience. Do you attend school online?

No I haven't had that experience before because I haven't really spent time studying anything so far after graduation. I don't mind going to school online or physically at all, as long as I could learn something and get something good out of the course.

I planned to attend school online but its does not work for me since no update if your learning the things the right way. one can never know if the materials are even enough for the proper input on info. without interaction with a real physical teacher will lead to not really getting the real idea or notion on a particular matter...

Good Morning, Yes, I have in the past attended college on-line and am currently enrolled in a MT course on line. I like it very much as I can log on and do my studies and assignments at my own pace. It's also very convenient because it means I don't have to attend strict classroom meetings. I often "have class" after 9:00 pm, when my son is sleeping! The only downfall I've experienced is the interaction with the students and instructors. My courses are very well supported on line, but there is something about being in class with your peers that makes for a feeling of camaraderie. When I was in college, I took the important core classes at the university campus, but the less important classes, like math, english and sciences, I took on line. I was studying paralegal studies and didn't want chance missing anything when it came to the law lessons. A lot can be said for learning from real conversations and interactions.
