Sachin not in Top 20 List of ICC batting ranking

ICC has released the latest top 20 batsmen and to everyone's surprise it does not feature Sachin Tendulkar. A man who is greater than most of the milestones he has achieved in his life and also to those he will achieve, i am sure this wont bother him, but for millions of sachin fans this comes as a surpise. ICC has a complex formula to calculate the ratings for evaluating a players performance. Do you think it is fair on the Master Blaster that he has not featured in he TOP 20 List?

icc is making a mockery of itself. on one hand it releases a list of all time players, on the other hand icc itself says that this list sould not be taken as a true measure of greatness. In that case what is the point of this list. Read just one of their stupid logics (there are many more actually) " sachin is ranked lower than hayden, there was not much difference between sachins peak ranking & ranking throughout. Hayden on the other had was always below sachins ranking but for 1 season when he peaked more than sachin with 900 points. Since sachin has mountain of runs it has made it tougher for him to match this small peak of hayden's ranking" ---- does any of it may any sense to you. Should we still take ICC seriously ???? Very sad news to cricket world. Master Blaster Should be in top 10. He is 100% suitabel to be in top3. Kumara Sangakara and ricky ponting are dominated when compared with sachin. But they have given good ranking. So, We should not trust this rankings. All are trash ratings.

This list is not about Greates Batsman of the world, this list is based on point system, in this many things is counted.These points are updated after every match and it continues till the end of players career. Sachin is great player, but his average is lesser than other players, if you want I can give you example. Ricky ponting came after Sachin, Sachin is so senior to him, but ponting is few centuries behind Sachin. So ponting has scored 100s in lesser match so he has more points then sachin. So this list is based on points not on greatness of player.
