Bloody Mary is apparently a very popular game, only I never heard about before I watched an episode on Medium and Supernature If you don't know the legend of Bloody Mary you will find it very interesting. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1389542/legend_of_bloody_mary_mary_worth_and.html?cat=9 have you ever played bloody mary? has something on Tv ever made you want to find out more about the subject on your own?

I really, really hate this game and every time I think about it I have to avoid looking into the mirror. LOL. If the name pops up in my mind and I'm looking in the mirror I speak out my own name. Aaaah! It's silly really.

Yes, I'm really easily spooked. My own shadow startles me most of the time. Not a good thing when I'm home alone a lot.

I read the link..I think it is crazy to keep reminding girls of this after it is long forgotten by some. So adding it to shows that young kids watch is nuts. Or in my opinion it is I love the Medium show it is a favorite of mine. I hadn't seen this episode though I must have missed it. I am a wimp because I would be to terrified to try this. Lord after watching Candyman movie I was afraid to look directly in my mirror for a few weeks. Something like this would definitely give me nightmares. I just hope that seeing it on television doesn't get a bunch of girls trying it even though it is legend. I know if I had daughters or children I wouldn't want them messing around with this type of thing. Just gives me goosebumps.

I actually made a mistake in that article, I didn't see it in medium, I saw it in ghost whisperers. You get best response, for actually taking the time to read the link.

Hello winterose! I didn't heard of such game. This was very informative and for this I thank you. I knew only the cocktail called by this name. To answer your question about finding something on TV and after searching for related things, yes I guess that this kind of things happen to everybody very often. Best regards, Octavian

We used to play Bloody Mary when I was a kid. We also played light as a feather stiff as a board. I always learn new things. That is the positive end of technology.

I am familiar with the legend, winterose, and I believe it probably should fall into the category of Urban Legends. The movie from quite a few years back, Candy Man, I believe was based upon something similar. I'm sort of a horror fan and watch Supernatural religiously.

yes the candyman based on it, did you read the link it said it there. It is not an urban legend though, bloody mary existed in history, the question is which bloody marry is this game from looks like a combination of different legends, and the original real and true bloody mary.

I learned about this game when I was around eleven (twenty-three years ago) during a slumber party. It scared the heck out of me. My step-daughter learned about it from a friend of hers at school recently and it's scaring the heck out of her, too. It's amazing how these legends seem so real.

We played it at Junior High slumber parties. In the tiredness of the night we would get all silly and play the game and in our tiredness some of us would imagine we saw something or would tell everyone else that we did to impress one another. It was all just silly nonsense meant to scare one another.

im always looking up things i find on tv.. although i lived near the bell witch house and everything and never heard of any game with her.. i do know that they claim the bell witch as being the only documented case of a ghost killing some one.. there are so many bell witch movies out its not even funny but i know an american haunting it one of the latest ones but i dont think its accurate.. i wanted to go to their halloween party but i heard it was all hokey so i passed

I haven't played Bloody Mary. Medium is how I learned about the game. I look up more information about the actors that play certain roles on television. Its great to check out their other roles.

I remember being at summer camp and some girls going into a dark bathroom with no windows and playing that. They got in trouble for it. Even if it didn't summon any black magic, some older girls succeeded in scaring the heck out of the younger girls.

I use to play bloody mary all the time with my cousins when I was growing up. It was scary back then and we had to psyche ourselves up to even play. LOL
