We didn't have an option of homeschooling when I was growing up. It was public or private school. I attended both. Many of my friends, including my younger sister homeschool their children and it seems to work really well for them. I wonder how different my life would have been if I had been homeschooled. The only drawbacks seem to be the lack of socializing and group activities, but I understand that many states now address these issues with sports programs and other club type activities that are solely for the homeschooled student. So what do you think Home School or Public School and why have you or would you make this choice? Be happy, be joyful, be safe be strong! OOHCUTE2340

Public school for sure. i would never want to do homeschooling because then i would not be near my friends and i would have to hang out with my mom all day. No way. i also went to catholic school and hated that too because you could not express yourself. i was stuck wearing a uniform for two years before i changed to public school. It just depends on the person.

I think kids should go to regular public or private school. It helps them interact with all kids which improves their socializing skills from the beginning itself which helps them in future too while they search around for jobs..

I have three kids in a public school and two that are homeschooled. I think that it all depends on the situation. If you were to decide to homeschool then you have to be dedicated to make sure the kids do their work. We have had many bumps in the road to homeschooling. I definately prefer having kids in a school.
