Well damn, no body told me it was coming to Canada! LOL
So sorry, I missed it,*sigh*. If I'd known, I would have gone for sure, if only to wave MY flag at it! LOL

I live in New Jersey, close enough, but I wouldn't go out in the cold to see it. It is on TV, so I can watch from home if I wanted to. I think it only went through PA, DE and Maryland, rather short trip. It is really cold on this side of the country and I tend not to brave it if I do not have to.

Hey pat! I don't think that the train came here, but I really
don't know if it did! And no, I wouldn't brave the cold not
even to get a tiny glimpse of the President to be! I am very
excited about Obama taking office and can't wait for him to
be our next President, but I haven't let my apartment since
Monday and I won't leave it until the temperature goes above
the 20's again! I sent my boyfriend out to do the errands
since it doesn't bother him as much as it does me! This
cold is too much for me! I will be watching all day Tuesday
to see all the festivities from my TV! Hopefully, it will
have warmed up a bit by then!

I didn't really pay attention to the train. I was present at another historical event though, I was at Grant Park in downtown Chicago on election night. My brother and I stood there watching the results come in on a big screen they had set up, and before we knew it, we had a newly elected president. It was a great moment, a great atmosphere, and a great speech.
