I love shopping and one of my pet peeve is "I hate when there isn't a price tag on the merchandise" I usually just won't buy it just to avoid asking or waiting for the store clerk to find out the price which holds up the lines or slows down my shopping time. The other one is when I see a price on the shelf that I assumed is the price where I picked up the item from only to get to the counter and another price(usually higher) ring up.

It happens quite often. There was a couple times they wouldn't sell me the stuff because they didn't know how much it was. They put it away till they figured out how much to charge. Then I just didn't buy anything.

I have the cashier check it or I check it at the scanner throughout the store. If it's too much I give it back to the cashier or put the item back. It is annoying when it doesn't have the price but sometimes they forget to post it. I understand them. However I imagine there are many people who just don't buy it then. Pablo

Ugh I know how you feel. I hate when I don't know how much and usually will pass it up if I don't know. But I really hate when the item is listed wrong which is always not in my favor. Today I was in a store and we were looking at foundation. THere were a few different brands, many that didn't have the price listed. We picked up one that we knew the price of instead of taking the others to the cashier and finding out the others ones prices.

Hi yparson. I hate it too since it's very time consuming to ask for an assistance or look for the same stock with a tag price on it by yourself. I experienced that recently when I and my boyfriend went for a shopping and found this lovely boots that fits perfectly on me. The store clerk can't find the price tag nor to it's system. It was the last pair so the clerk asked an assistance to the store manager. They advised me to go back on the following day since they were about to close or they will scan a price from a boots that is of similar height. Of course I chose the later because I have no time to go back and they might sell that boots to someone else. I didn't mind that I paid higher than the price I expected it to be.
