Who is Your Favorite Guitarist?

1-Yngwie Malmsteen-Yngwie Malmsteen 2-Zack Wylde- Ozyy Osbourne/Black Label society 3-Tonny Iommi-Black Sabbath 4-Steve Vai-Steve Vai Can't really choose a favourite guitarist out of these 4 they all best at what they do

Well, actually I don't know a lot of guitarists.... I think my favourite is Erik Cole from the band 'Kevin Max'....He can play very well....he and Kevin are playing in a lot of cities and show, Kevin singing, Erik playing guitar.

hard to pin down one, but top 3 are definitely Johnny Greenwood, Matt Bellamy and Graham Coxon. John Frusciante falling just outside that top 3

In no particular order: Pete Townsend Jade Puget Jack White and as much as his arrogance makes me want to injure him, Tom Morello is a pretty awesome guitarist

Zakk Wylde would be first... Joe Walsh... and Malmsteen has to be in there... Although Buckethead can do some amazing things with a guitar even though his gimmick is stupid.

Eric Clapton

Petrucci's pretty good, but my money would have to be on Brian May. Bonus points for him having built his own guitar out of a fireplace.

In terms of just straight guitar work, I would definitly have to say Andy McKee. He is definitly something of a classic since he became extremely popular on youtube. I only wish he would add some vocals to his instrumentals, because those songs could easily be hits (as if they aren't already as just instrumentals). The way he fingerpicks is beyond me.
