Hello, I am having a problem booting up my Ibook G3 with Tiger OS X 10.4.11. The problem started when my ac adapter blew a fuse and I let my battery die completely (but it continued working after the ac adapter fuse blew). I bought a new ac adapter and the battery has been fully charged, but since the battery died originally, I have not been able to boot up. It stays on the grey screen with the Apple and the loading wheel. I reset the PMU and the PRAM and had no luck. I've restarted several times. I am hoping that I do not need the CD that came with the computer because I bought it second-hand and don't have it. Dec 31 19:00:45 localhost mDNResoinder: Adding brose domain local. The last two lines just continue repeating. I am thinking that there might be a corrupted file but I have no idea how to go about figuring that out. I honestly have no idea what it means. There is only one user login for my computer (G3).

I am not an expert but think that you probably do need the original disk! If only to boot from. However, try asking your question somewhere like www.macformat.co.uk on their forum. They have yet to let me down. There are some very knowledgeable people there. Good luck.
